Surprises is an Artist's Book dsigned by Antoinette Handal that suggests a new way of reading a meaningful poem. All the content, including images and text have been authentically created.
The poem is based on the message of living winter from the inside out, taking joy from the surprises and details of winter. The poem was written using other people's point of view together with the artist's personal perspective of this season.
The book is meant to be experienced by the audience in an unusual yet particularly joyful way. The objective is to cause a feeling and activate some memories or desire to find delight in the vernacular surprises of winter.
